Seminar on the Development of Geothermal Energy Production in Tuscany

retegeotermica

RETE GEOTERMICA, under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE), is organizing a 2-day seminar on the evolution of geothermal energy production in Tuscany that will take place in Florence on 3 – 4 July 2017.

We are pleased to present examples of InSAR analyses over geothermal fields at the seminar.

Following our experience with specific projects in this sector, we provide measurements from satellite radar data to:

  • Identify or separate origin of ground movement (tectonic or production related),
  • Identify large aperture fractures (reduce risk of dry wells) during exploration,
  • Identify active faults in the reservoir area.
