Meet us at the 4th World Landslide Forum (WLF) that will be held between May 29 – June 2, 2017 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

TRE ALTAMIRA will present the most advanced radar satellite-based solutions to detect and monitor geohazards. Our staff will be glad to discuss how we are making the transition from historical satellite analyses to a near to real time monitoring program at a regional and even national scale. Up-to-date displacement information is routinely provided to final users and decision makers, relying on our advanced satellite InSAR technique (SqueeSAR™), our broad computing capacity and free access to timely Sentinel images.

Federico Raspini, from the University of Florence, will also illustrate our SAR imagery-based results for a rapid movement landslide event in Italy. Come and join his presentation “Mapping Rapid-Moving Landslide with Satellite SAR Images: The Case of Montescaglioso (South Italy)” on:

Wednesday, May 31, 2017
Session 2.1, Room M1

The WLF is jointly organized by the International Consortium on Landslides (Kyoto, Japan), the International Programme on Landslides (IPL), the University of Ljubljana and the Geological Survey of Slovenia. The Forum is a contribution to the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 which was adopted by UN Member States in March 2015 at the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (3rd WCDRR) in Sendai City, Japan. Check out an overview of the Technical Programme on the WLF WEBSITE.
